At the Museum of Literature Ireland, in the fifth episode of Past/Present/Pride, Dr Paul D’Alton speaks to writer and poet Seán Hewitt, on the eve of the publication of his new memoir, All Down Darkness Wide.
In late 2021, Manchester Literature Festival and Manchester Art Gallery co-commissioned poet Seán Hewitt to create new work in response to the Derek Jarman PROTEST! exhibition at the Gallery. Seán performed ‘Portal' for the first time at an intimate event on 3 April 2022 as part of MLF’s Spring 2022 programme. This short film by Modify Productions captures Seán reading 'Portal' in Manchester Art Gallery after hours.
